You ought to submit it to Dogs Monthly (yes, there is such a magazine), although I think it would get more circulation in Wife Appreciation Monthly (forget it, I've already been to Danika's...er, I mean Go Daddy''s website to reserve the domain name), judging by the response to Kirkster's altruism. Man, between my son and my two son-in-laws, the bar is kept high for the rest of us. So maybe I can get Kirk to convince my Better Half to let me adopt Suga...I mean Darcy's sister. I can hardly wait to meet my new little grand puppy in 3 weeks...and, of course, visit with the rest of her sweet family!Mark@theprayerdirectedlifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02632487333094901189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5071542331530983118.post-56954665199693690012010-08-10T20:24:27.856-04:002010-08-10T20:24:27.856-04:00She DOES fit, doesn't she, Auntie Kara :) She...She DOES fit, doesn't she, Auntie Kara :) She is my little shadow, too.
I'm glad the graph made you laugh - a throwback to my days as a scientist, lol!Erin Knightleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09368123673970225476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5071542331530983118.post-35863408962769944332010-08-10T20:21:30.647-04:002010-08-10T20:21:30.647-04:00She just looks likes she's always been a membe...She just looks likes she's always been a member of your family, like something was missing before and now she's found. Currently I am without my cute,...That is so sweet. Currently I am without my cute, cuddly dog as she is at a Pet Hotel because the beach house we rented for the week does not allow dogs.

Two weeks almost in a row without my shadow and I miss her. We have Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. (Got her the week before Christmas so still in the honeymoon phase of having a dog in the house)

Hubby joked about getting a second dog so she could have someone to play with. I have said no. Two extra special kids and a dog who has been allergic to vaccines and catgut have led to expensive bills. Another dog is almost like another kid and I don't think I'd survive. Although I think the only thing saving me from a surprise dog is the cost of a Cavalier.

Yes I know there are shelter dogs who need homes. But with an ADHD and Autistic child, I have certain requirements I want in a dog. Calm, cuddly, and small being foremost which is why I wanted a Cavalier to begin with. Those requirements still apply. So at least until the kids go through school, I believe I am safe from the 'surprise' doggie.

And as a mother of two cute boys and the wife of another boy....let me tell you...puppy dog eyes do not work on me. Really I can walk away from cute brown eyes looking at me. Truely, I'll walk away...in just a minute.Beth Caudillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07822034586213938181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5071542331530983118.post-6910758745290862492010-08-10T09:57:39.259-04:002010-08-10T09:57:39.259-04:00Donna, you are so sweet - and funny! She is precious, and I love to hear the story of how you met and fell in love. LOL! I totally know what you mean about not caring about how all the things you worried about before you got her don't matter now that you have her. Before I had Bella, I worried about sleepless nights and wondered if I would ever get anything done ever again. LOL! But when you're responsible for a precious life, whether furry or skinned, you just don't care.

Oh, and I TOTALLY get the *grin* when Kirk acknowledged your hard work. Eric has always been understanding and supportive, but he truly realized how demanding my job as mom is when he was Mr. Mom for 3 days in Florida. Did I mention I have a new nanny?? LOL!AvonLadyJerricahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14611705826419158520noreply@blogger.com
